No acceleration, loud noise?

A year ago, my car suddenly started to get jerky and lose acceleration. Check engine light was on. Brought it to a shop and code said faulty mass airflow. This was replaced and the same thing happened. Brought it back and they replaced it again saying it was a faulty sensor. The same thing happened, and this shop said to bring it to the dealer where they could recalibrate it. This was done and the same issues happened. Brought it back to the dealer and they replaced the back O2 sensor. Same issues. Brought it back to the dealer and they looked it over and said I needed to replace the catalytic converter. I have not done this yet and am getting the bank1 O2 sensor replaced today. The check engine light has been on the entire time. Help!
