Brakes problem
2006 Nissan Xterra Four Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles

The caliper on my son's Nissan Xterra froze. The dealer service people tell him that the caliper ruined the rotor and he needs to fix both sides so as not to be uneven. He says he needs new calipers, rotors and brakes. Estimate:$1800 in Arlington, VA area. Is this reasonable?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

Looking at Mitchell 1 data base, i come up with about $1510. for this job, the calipers are over $1000 for both, so they are close but i do think that they can do a bit better.
