My Xterra is making a squealing noise from the belt. I applied belt dressing to no avail. It sounds like it's coming from the area of the power steering pump but does not change in pitch when I turn the front wheels, only with the speed of the engine. It sat for about months before I bought it. Maybe a seized bering?

Best way to find out would be to remove the belts one at a time until the noise goes awaay, that will tell you which one it is.At that mileage it shouldnt need a new belt, but it could be a bearing failure like you said.Be sure to use carb cleaner to get all the belt dressing off the pulleys
