Timing mark missing

160,000 MILES • 6 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I am working on a 2000 Xterra, doing a timing belt. The mark on the crankshaft sprocket is in place, but the mark on the block to match the sprocket is NOT! How do I find where to set my crankshaft to time.
