2000 Nissan Xterra 98000 miles

The gagues occationally go out or stick right where there at. They come off and on. It seems if the truck is cooler it wont happen as much. I have never changed the battery. I am lost? Instrument cluster or is there a sensor that could be going bad? Please help.

I own a 2000 xterra I had the same problem. It was a defective guage panel. Its electronic and the whole unit has to be replaced (not cheap)
