My 93 nissan pickup pulls hard to the left when the brakes are applied hard. I have just recently replaced the brake master cylinder as well as the front brake lines. It was suggested by a local repair shop that the right brake line might be collapsed internally, therby causing the pull to the left front brake.
i have removed the brake pads and greased all the areas recommended. The tires or the brake pads do not appear to be wearing abnormally.
i have also tightened and torqued the bolt connecting the slide rod assebly to the left front wheel.
any thought on what else might be causing the problem?

If the brake hose was collapsed internally, it would act like a one way valve, and the wheel will lock, until the bleeder screw is opened. So if the wheels rotate freely, check all front end parts, and tires. Now if the wheel does lock, and you open the bleeder, if the wheel turns the hose is bad, if it stays locked on, it's the caliper, change both and save the trouble later!
