Lights on dash will not go out

4x4, slip, ABS, and VDC lights are all on, but my 4x4 still works except it will not go into 4lo. Brake fluid is topped right up and when I first start the vehicle the 4lo light is on then goes out and the four wheel indicator does not light up anymore to show if you are in 2wd or 4wd.

Scan for codes to see if there are any codes. Unfortunately a mechanic will need to do it because of ABS.

There are no codes except p0181fuel temperature sensor and p0183 fuel temperature sensor A circuit and p0448 vent control valve that is all my scanner is bringing up.

That is because you probably have an auto parts bought scanner and they only pick up engine and transmission codes nothing else. A mechanic has a scanner that is in the $4,000.00 to $8,000.00 range and will pick up any code on any module besides able to command certain things that yours cannot.
