1992 Nissan Stanza 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

where is the neutral safety switch located on a 1992 nissan stanza with automatic trans? And how do you replace the switch?

the automatic tranny uses an inhibitor switch and it should be on the the lower rear side of the transaxle. raise and support vehicle to gain access to switch. disconnect switch connector then unbolt from mounting location to replace.
