1996 Nissan Sentra Oil Change

I just Change My oil while refilling, the engine with oil I spilled alot on the engine, Now I have white smoke coming out of my muffler and oil. Whats the problem?

You are most likely burning off the spilled oil, if it doesn't go away take it to the shop but do keep an eye or your oil level if it stays the same then you are just burning off the oil, check you coolant level and check for coolant in the oil or dissappearing coolant but no obvious signs of it
