hi there! i have a 93 nissan sentra. it starts up just fine but stalls when its put into gear. HELP! i have no idea what to look for and am hoping to avoid a costly tow to the garage. thanks!!

if engine stalls when in driver or reverse, this is most likely caused by a faulty torque converter
