2008 Nissan Sentra Bulb replacement for shifter selector

I am trying to figure out how to replace the bulb on the shifter console. I have tried to pry the plastic piece up; however the shifter knob gets in the way. I would like to be able to see what selection I have chosen at night.

To remove the Shifter knob its looks like there is clip on the front of the knob that you either push in or pull out and then you pull the knob up. Hope you can see the picture.
