I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra, 44,000 miles 1.8L. After driving for about 10 minutes, my temp gauge starts to go up and down between the normal position and hot and the heater will only blow cool air. I have filled the antifreeze and replaced the thermostat, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

I have seen the water pump impeller fall off and not circulate the coolant, I would remove the pump for inspection here is how. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
