I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. There is apparently a problem with my accelerator sensor on the throttle body assembly. My car will suddenly loose power and the accelerator will fail to respond to the gas pedal. The Nissan people want me to replace the entire throttle body assembly. NAPA has a replacement sensor but because Nissan wants to replace the entire assembly, I'm not sure if it will function properly on the Spec V. Can I replace the just the sensor or must I replace the entire assembly?
