Their is a skinny piece of plastic dangling awkwardly underneath the front part of my car and my car has been making funny squeaky noises as well.

Hi there,

This sounds like the plastic splash shield has come loose, it will be bolted on, check that it is not damaged, you will need to jack it up to check this, use stands or get it up on a hoist.
