1998 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I am installing a new car battery. When I connect the positive cable the car alarm goes off. What am I doing wrong.

you are not doing anything wrong connect the batt let the alarm go off if it doesn't reset use the remote to reset alarm. they all do this

I tried that. I used to remote to turn off alarm. But when I tried to start the car the alarm went off again. How do I reset alarm?

lock your doors hook up batterry. close hood .. now unlock pass side front door alarm shoul disengage
