Transmission problem

i have a 97 nissan sentra. i was changing the tranny fluid and filter and the middle longest bolt on drivers side of filter will not tighten like there is no threading device inside or is it just supposed to slip in? it is snug when it is all the way in but if u pull hard enough it will come out. it is the only one like that. i did not mix up the bolts and since it is the longest one it can't be mixed up with the rest. i would appreciate any help. thanks!!!
