1997 Nissan Sentra Radiator fans not working

Engine Cooling problem
1997 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive
----------------------------------------------------------------
radiator fans are not working. but when we disconnect the ETC ( Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) then fans starts working, what could be the fault?

i would suspect a bad switch, because if its reading cool all the time then the fans will never come on.

does it come on when the ac fans are turned on? if so suspect the switch or possible wiring harness error.
