1997 Nissan Sentra

I have my nissan sentra model 1997 my problem occured when I am on the 1st gear then accelerate it will shakes and so on on the 2nd gear something that will hesitate to accelerate though it run and I feel it is something husky or rough and it has poor in mileage and it becomes not efficient in gas my 1/4 gas gauge the car consume it only for 2 days even if I only travel for 10 kilometers daily..
