1996 Nissan Sentra I need HELP

I have a Nissan Sentra, and it feels like im running out of gas when I have a half or even full tank... I started two days ago but doesnt happen all the time only every other time I drive the car.

I had the fuel pump replaced 1 yr ago and also my spark plugs and wires.. I dont know whats wrong with it. My friend said check your fuel filter and I dont think that guy who changed my fuel pump changed it either, Can some one help i cant affort a major overhaul again on this car. but I also need to get to work. SO WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Check and the fuel filter if its clogged-up its near by the brake master cylinder on the firewall
