I own a Sentra Ex- Saloon 96 model with 65,000 Km milage. It performs well in cold weather but in hot temperatures like in heavy traffic I hear a ratling sound that I believe is the sound of fuel knock. The fuel knock happens everytime I accelerate from a heavy traffic and warm weather. I also observe that the oil in the engine is increasing. I do not know if it's fuel or water mixing with engine oil. What do you recommend? Please explain.

Check the EGR valve and the knock sensor a problem here will cause the engine to ping/detonate
