1995 Nissan Sentra Noise

My 1995 Nissan Sentra make a thump sound every time I hit a bump. The sound seem as if the spare tire is loose or the car is bottoming because of bad struts. The spare tire is not loose and I have had three mechanic look at the struts and they are fine. Do you have any suggestion as to the problem that is causing the noise. Thanks.

Check all bushings on your rear suspension, especially the ones on the torsion bar.
