1994 Nissan Sentra (fuel injected) has always run great. Driving nicely down a (perfectly level) road, all of the sudden it starts running rough and shaking; acceleration is noticeably lessened. Thought it might stall out but it didn't. Got it home, checked under the hood but found nothing suspicious. Replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the air filter. Started the car and, unfortunately, nothing had changed; tested it in park, drive, reverse and neutral - the shaking/roughness is less noticeable in park and neutral, but still there. Any ideas? Thanks.
P.S. Is the car safe to drive to the repair shop?
