1994 Nissan Sentra Remove/change manual door lock

1994 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual lots miles

I am replacing the driver's side door and need to switch the locks. This is all manual locks and window mechanisms. Is there a video or some directions for doing this? I can just grock it but would prefer a bit of preparation.

We do not have the remove and replacement instructions or diagrams listed for this vehicle .. but it is a simple repair .. remove door trim and soundproofing and with window in up position unbolt from vehicle taking care not to let it drop as you are doing so ..unclip the linkage from door lock and push/pull out horse shoe shaped hold down clip from lock assembly and remove from car.
