i am wondering if anyone knows what problem i am having with my car. i just got new rotors and pads installed in 2 days ago. the squeaking of the noise is gone. but now when i drive i hear a rattling sound as if something was loose. i also hear like a swooshing sound like "chhh chhh chhh.." its quite hard to explain unless your in the car. is that normal to break in the rotors and pads? or should i get it checked

Hi there,

I would be getting the work re checked by the mechanic who did the job, best to be safe just in case they did not do it correctly.

Hi there,

The pads may need a good bed in, normally only if they are poor or low quality pad, go find a quiet road and give the brakes a good work out, don't lock them up, just work them hard and see how it goes.
