I just had a valve cover gasket put on my car. After which, I noticed blue smoke coming from the exhaust. It comes and goes. When I get up to around 60 mph the car begins to shake a little. I'm not sure if these two probems has anything to do with each other.

is it blue or is it black exhaust, get different oppinions because it is hard to mistake it.

blue measn oil is being burned in the cylinders and wouldnt have anything to do with it running rougher at high speeds especially if it doesnt do it at high rpm acceleration so its not being overpumped with oil at high rpms, so low rpm crusing speeds should affect it.

now black exhaust is excessive fuel being burned and could be causing the bad running at high speeds.

but for the shaking i woudl check the tires.
