AN ACCIDENT CREATED A SMALL CRACK IN BOTTOM OF CAST ALUMINUM TRANS CASE. DO YOU HAVE TO PULL ENGINE TO REPLACE TRANS CASE? OR CAN THIS BE WELDED, PATCHED WITH JB WELD. EVEN HAD A THOUGHT OF DRILLING HOLE AS LARGE AS CRACK AND THEN INSTALLING A SCREW WITH WASHER. YOUR IDEAS PLEASE!

drain the fluid from it and then you can clean it and mig or tig weld it, dont jb weld it, id weld the hole shot and then put a plate over it and weld it again.
