About a month ago I noticed that my van was hesitating. Then it started to completely sputter.. then eventually it just died. My father jumped it because it completely died. It worked for a day then while I was driving my defroster stopped working any my headlights kept going off and on (it was snowing and dark out) My question is what would cause all of this.. My battery? I know I need new spark plugs but that would not cause my lights to come on and off.

Get the charging system checked out could be the alternator going south and also the battery.
