hi. i have a pulsar GTI-R year 1994.
after driving her for bout 20-30min the coolant becomes excessively hot. it boils up and bubbles and causes the expansion tank to shake with the coolant spilling out of the overspill port in the bottle. however the temp gauge on the dash reads normal temp
iv noticed aswell that the cooling fans do not cut when the coolant gets to this high temp

Hi mikey matalo,

Thank you for the donation.

Check the radiator cap. If the cap is bad, it would not be able to hold pressure and that would result in the bubbling at the recovery tank. Replace the radiator cap and test if the bubbling still occurs.

Check the coolant level in radiator and if it is low, top it up. Run engine without closing the radiator cap and top up the coolant level when it goes down. When level is stable, close radiator cap.
