I have a 1996 Pathfinder LE. V6 engine. It has 163,000km. It is a 5 speed manual transmission. I wonder what this whirring noise is that it makes when I depress the clutch. It happens more in dry weather than wet. Usually when the car is colder, but still sometimes when it is hot. It is becoming more frequent. If you could give me some advice I would be grateful. Thanks.

The whirring noise is coming from the release/throwout bearing its in between the pressure plate and clutch fork.
