I have a 1995 Nissan pathfinder se 3.0v6 4x4 with 207,665 miles. For a while now my low beams work perfectly fine but when I try to turn on the high beams the driver side light goes completely out. Ive tried replacing the bulb checking for curosion and build up but nothing works. I believe it started when I was getting a jump and someone cross the wires every since then my radio hasnt kept memory until I put in an aftermarket radio an wired it to my fuse box thanks

Check to see if you are getting voltage to the high beam socket with a test light. Check the ground. Have you checked all the fuses?

No I havent checked my voltage yet I was waiting on my dad to bring home his volt meter and all my fuses are good the only fuse thats not good is the interior lights fuse I took it out b/c my rear door sensor is bad and always says my door is open so it drains my battery. If im not receiving 12 volts then what do I have to do?

Thanks for the help I fixed the problem I did it the inexpensive way I wire my right high beam wire to my left high beam wire and that fixed my problem the test light lit up on both hight beam wires so im guessing it was in my headlight switch

It could be the headlight switch, what you posted sounds like a headlight relay, there should be one for each headlight, they are usually mounted under the hood. Glad you were able to get headlights
