I have a 1994 nissan pathfinder with 180000miles on it and the brake system has failed. I notice brake fluid leaking from the front right wheel area around the caliper and also the rear driver side. could this just be that i need to replace those 2 calipers or could it be more then that?

Hi there,

If the fluid loss is in and around the brake pads only, you will have a failed piston seal, Have a good look at the flexible front brake hose as well. At the rear same thing for the caliper, check the steel brake pipe is tight and not damaged. Don't mess with brakes, Get a professional to do it, there is to much at stake.
