My car wouldnt start and i had it towed to a shop and they told me it was bad gas. So they did their thing and it worked for 2 days and yesterday I tried to crank it up and it wouldn't start. It smelled like gasoline and someone told me it could be my gas pump. Is this the problem?

Check your fuel pressure whether it's within specs,to rule out the fuel pump.If ok,check the fuel pressure regulator and injectors if it's leaking,to include the charcoal canister if it's saturated with fuel.
