For a while I have had issues with my battery. If a door is open for any length of time, say 10 minutes, the battery dies and the car won"t start. It takes the jump and we go on for a few weeks. Sometimes, this happens with nothing left on or doors open, it just doesn't start. i have taken it in and they say the battery is fine and does not need to be replaced. What else is causing this?

Hi there,

I would have a load test doe on the battery, this is the only true test for battery serviceability, then have a current draw test done, to see if something is drawing battery current when the ignition is off. Start here.
