2001 Nissan Pathfinder IDLE RPM

2001 NISSAN PATHFINDER
70,000 MILES • 6 CYL • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

When i turn on my engine the RPM GOES HIGH to 2500RPM for about 1 minute then goes down to 1100RPM and stays at this value when idle.
COuld you tell me what to check?

Sounds like a faulty idle control motor.
