2000 Nissan Pathfinder Two Wheel Drive Automatic 98000. miles

I have a 2000 and some times the speedometer and the tac will shut down as i am driving. I can stop for a while and start up again and it all comes back. every thing on the dash seems to work ok. got ant ideas??

id check the transmission speed sensor and replace it.
