It was cold this morning and when I started my truck, the fan motor would not operate. Due to it's age and the fact that it's made a clicking sound since the 2nd year I've owned it, my guess is the fan motor died. What is entailed in replacing this, and can it be done by a technically savy [although not trained mechanic] person? I also have a bunch of dashboard lights that need replacing. How do I go about this, and do I need to buy a repair manual, and if so, which one is best for this vehicle? THANKS!

First lets deal with the blower motor it is actually not to bad to do. If you look under the dash behind you glove box you will see the motor with a two wire connector hooked to it. Un hook the wires and take out the bolts and down it comes.
Now on the dash lights you need to pull the instrument cluster out to do this and yes I would recommend a Haynes manual to help with doing this. Let me know if there anything else
