Steering problem
1998 Nissan Pathfinder 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

When I turn my steering wheel to a full turn there is a load screeching sound. The fluid level looks fine. It seems to occur more often once the car is started. It is embrassing in a parking lot when you back out of a space
any ideas?

Hi have you looked at the fluid when it has done this?If foamy you have air in system blead the air out. If you are going all the way ti the stops(full turn, hard against stop) its normal you dont have to hold it hard against the stop car wont turn any more and its hard on P/S pump
