Truck won't start. Starter is engaging, but no spark delivery. I took the cap off and the distributor is not rotating, so I suspect the timing belt is broken....could there be any other cause?

Hello,

If I am not mistaken there is a plastic cover you can remove to inspect the belt, at least the top side of it. You can have someone turn the engine over and see if the belt moves or not.
