I own a 95 Pathfinder LE V6 the starter went out in the truck I went to Advanced Auto Parts and got a new one and turned my old one in for the core charge. I put the new one on which by the way was the absolute hardest starter in the world to put on you need fairy hands if u want to keep skin but anyway wired it up worked great for about two days and quit working well took it back put a new one on it lasted only a week now i did check to make sure the power to the starter was free and clear of any ground points it also did something weird it started thr truck and then the starter kept running till power was killed wires were clear taped and triple checked could there be another problem or are they just junk starters? Help!! I dont want to do it 4 times!!!

Hi tjlanc,

Check and see if the ignition switch is stuck in the cranking position after you have stopped turning.
