My engine oil light flickers for about 10 seconds then shuts off. This happened the last 2 times I drove. I checked the oil and it says it is half full. I just got back from a trip that was about 500 or so miles total and since then this has happened. Also there is a clicking noise that I hear now that gets faster when I accelerate. What could be the problem and what do I need to do to fix it?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
