1993 Nissan Pathfinder Starter problem?

When I turn my key in the ignition, the car clicks and doesn't turn over. The built in security system also goes on even if the switch is turned off. We were able to get it jump started to get it home. Is this a battery problem or possibly a solenoid problem?

. Is this a battery problem or possibly a solenoid problem? Could be both and other problems like the igniton switch, park and neutral switch and starter relay
