1993 Nissan Pathfinder Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The power antenna does not go up when the radio is turned on. It seems to be stuck. When I turn the car off I can hear it humming like its trying get back down. Problem is, its already down. I just bought this car yesterday and is this something the dealer should take care of or can I do it myself?

I would try spraying WD-40 on it and letting it soak in if you havent already. If that doesnt work, it might be the motor and I'd have that checked out.
