how to install distributor

Set the new one up identicle, make sure the rotor is in the same place as the one being removed and install the new one the exact way.

to pull the old one out take one wire at a time and hook it to the new ones cap, then loosen the hold down bolt and pull up on the distributor it should come right out.

then with the new one on, put the #1 cylinder On TDC and see if the rotor is pointing at the #1 spark plug, if so good job on installing the distributor right.

next thing to do is set ignition timing.
