Transmission and start problem

My vehicle will not go into reverse. It drives slow with speeds just up to 60 mph. It does crank, but then it shuts right off. The vehicle only drives forward, no reverse.

It sounds like the transmission is having a problem, have you checked the fluid level, if okay I would take it to a transmission shop to see what they say, it might be time for e rebuild. Please let me know what you find
