Fuel wont go in tank

check the hose that goes to the Tank, could be "twisted" or bended...

I think so. Seems like the fuel backs up quickly. The car sat for five years. Something may be clogged. I don't know much about fuel systems though. The fuel filter was very nasty.

Well
I would recommend you to drop the fuel tank and clean it.. you never know how dirty it is..
that will avoid any further problems.
Also that way you will find the problem with the filling..

hello Mark!!

well.. if you have some mechanic skills and a good pair of stands (safety first!) you don`t have to remove the tires just to lift more your car (to work easy underneath) yes you can do it..

Unless you want just check the hose...
and replace the fuel filter more often (in case that the fuel tank has a lot of trash on it)

its not that hard (small tank) not to heavy, but has some hoses that you have to remove as soon as you remove the two belts that support the tank..

I think I will try to check the hoses. I'm going on a six month deployment in leass than two weeks and wont have much time to work on this. I was hoping to have it driveable so my wife could drive it a little while I was gone. I looked under the car and saw two hoses.
