Front-Left Headlight Of a 98' Nissan Quest

For the past month, My front left head lamp has not been working.

So here is what happens when I switch my frontlights on--- At regular beam ( not high or flash) the left lamp doesnt come on. All other lights work such as the right lamp, running lights and interior lights work. Now if I were to turn on my brights, nothing will have changed from the previouse regular beam. The tricky part is when I triger my flash, both headlamps come on and are both bright( not regular). So now to avoid being pulled over by the everyday friendly cop, I have to hold my flash on when at night I drive.( Which has resulted in a strained left hand and an upset wife)

All fuses have been checked and re-checked. All relays have been checked too.

i am now in a Quandary over this front headlamp whitch has caused me more grief than I wish to have. I am trying not to go to the dealer, but am in denial that I might have to in the very near future.
