I have a 1995 Nissan p/u with 140000 mile. My battery and brake light came on and I took it to the local part store and they told me that my alternator was only putting out 11 volts. So I changed the alternator with a rebuilt one and now I can only get 12.80 volts, is that enough?

I would get a Haynes Manual.
Somewhere in there you should be able to find the spec for the alternator.
Just make sure your battery is fully charged when you test it.

You should have at leat 13 volts comming from the altinator. Have that one checked and make sure none of the rebuilt parts are faulty
