2006 Other Nissan Models ps light stays on with loss of powe

nissan micra 1.2 lost power steering. can this be repaired without replacing the whole steering column having to be replaced?

If it is the pump, you can remove the pump without having anything to do with the steering column.

Just make sure you bleed the system once you are done.
