2000 Other Nissan Models Squealing when I turn may air condi

The air conditoner cools, but when it is turned on it makes a terrible squealing sound. I have had a new air conditoner belt put on but it still squeals.

Hi frannie001,

Check the belt tension, idler pulley and crankshaft pulley. If the alternator belt is separate, check it too.
