1999 Other Nissan Models What precautions should i take ?

I am going for a long holiday. (10 months).No one here to start my car.

Is that OK if I disconnect the battery ? Do I need to take anymore precautions ?

Please help.....thanks for the same.

I would rather that you put some fuel stabilizer in the gas tank to prevent varnish.
The battery (depending on its condition) may need a recharge regardless of wheather its disconnected or not.
Fuel stabilizer will keep the fuel in good condition for 12 months or more.
